Journal Illustrations

Liz has been providing cover illustrations for the NZ Journal of Ecology for over 20 years. She spends a lot of time researching the topic before starting, including going out and collecting the subject if possible. Her fundamental approach is a well detailed main image merged with a simpler line drawing for contrast.

Published Books

A strong interest in entomology led to Liz writing and illustrating her own book, An Illustrated Guide to Some New Zealand Insect Families, published in 1999 by Manaaki Whenua Press. Liz produced the book as a practical guide for anyone who wishes to learn more about New Zealand's insects.
